Browser Clients
Thin Client
Open your browser and point to the INFINITEweb
ThinClient URL. The server will deploy pure HTML and
standard web scripts. The communication is a
standard HTTP or HTTPS (if SSL is enabled over the
server). No particular settings are required at
client level as any additional framework or
component is required to launch. Although some
advanced functionality would be limited, most of the
standard browsers are supported.
Enhanced Client
When you open your browser and point to the
INFINITEweb Enhanced Client URL (Unique Resource
Locator) for the first time, a component is
automatically downloaded and then executed within
the browser. This process is transparent for the end
user and some minimum configuration is required. The
communication is established with the INFINITEweb
Host Service via standard WebServices. This client
provides full availability for the basic and advance
deployed customizations’ features and it’s strongly
recommended for LAN environments or broadband
connections through the Internet.
