toolset, yet is very easy to use |
The Data Center
Providing service bureau applications since the late
sixties, The Data Center, Inc. is a separate
subsidiary company of Yadkin Valley Telephone
Membership Corporation, and provides a full range of
software applications and support for a wide variety
of types of services including Cellular, Digital
Wireless, Paging, Cable TV, Internet, Satellite
Programming, and Land-based Telephone. Client
companies have a menu of services for selection. In
addition, The Data Center, Inc. offers invoice
printing and mailing services.
The Data Center wished to deploy their applications
via browser so that their clients could attach via
browser and use their services, creating an "ASP"
model from their prior "Service Bureau" model.
Infinite WEB created browser screens from the the
previous iSeries-based green screens and deployed
the via the web.
The Data Center's clients now access via the web
through graphical browser-based screens.
V&M Star
V & M STAR is North America's leading producer of
seamless Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG), Line &
Standard Pipe, Coupling Stock and Mechanical Tube.
It is the US subsidiary of VALLOUREC & MANNESMANN
TUBES a Vallourec Group Company.
V&M Star needed to modernize their IBM Midrange
applications so that they would interface with
applications from their parent group, clients and
vendors.
They required a fast, easy-to-use product that would
make their green screens into browser pages, fast.
Infinite WEB was the toolset that got the job done.
Over 6,000 screens were made graphical and deployed
as browser pages in a matter of a couple of weeks.
Now, the company's users, local and non-local access
the system via fast operating graphical screens via
browser.
International Monetary Systems (IMS)
Founded in 1985, IMS serves more than 16,400
customers representing 24,000 cardholders in 44 U.S.
markets. Based in New Berlin, Wis., IMS is one of
the largest publicly traded barter companies in the
world and is continually expanding its exchange
locations.
The company's proprietary transaction network
enables businesses and individuals to trade goods
and services throughout North America. Using an
electronic currency known as trade dollars, IMS
exchanges allow companies to create cost savings and
to improve operations by taking advantage of barter
opportunities in their business models.
Managed by seasoned industry veterans, IMS is a
recognized member of the National Association of
Trade Exchanges (NATE) and the International
Reciprocal Trade Association (IRTA). Further
information can be obtained at the company's Web
site at: www.internationalmonetary.com. IMS wanted
to modernize their IBM System i software that is
sold and traded within its trading network.
This software needed to be graphical, web enabled
and easy to integrate with customer's applications.
Infinite WEB made the system come together providing
graphical web access within 90 days of the software
acquisition.
